The Never-ending Story

It's been a minute, I thought I'd give you a writing update, since writing for me is never-ending, a core part of my daily routine.

Book 4 in the Henry Herbert series is done, in the hands of my most critical reader––my wife. Set in Singapore, it's my favourite one in the series so far and very personal to me (my wife grew up in Singapore and has a lot of family there still, who helped me tremendously, especially to scout locations I'd later revisit). We're hoping for a late 2025 release––things will be confirmed later in the year.

I recently finished the draft for Book 5 in the series. It's raw for now, a very emotional journey for Henry as he reconnects with his friends and past life. I'll give it some time before tackling the edits. (There are already plans for Book 6, which will be different––through the eyes of Lucy and Lillian, for the most part.)

Which leads me to now. Taking a break from the Henry Herbert series, I've just written the first chapter in an entirely new title, set in Melbourne, Australia. All I can say its I'm going for the quirky humour of authors such as Kōtarō Isaka (Bullet Train) and Carl Hiaasen (Bad Monkey). Something a little different after the trauma Henry will go through in Book 5.

If you haven't read the Henry Herbert series yet, now's the perfect time. There are only 3 titles to catch up on, #1 - Bury Our Secrets, #2 - Pay For Your Mistakes, #3 - Fall For Their Lies. Details found on my Books page.

Stay safe, thanks for your support :)
